The Dunkleosteus was a huge fish that lived before the flood. They could grow up to 50 feet long and weigh 4 tons! Dunkleosteus did not have teeth like a shark, but instead had two long, bony blades in its mouth to snap and crush it’s prey. It probably had a bit force of 11,000 pounds which is about twice the bite force of a Great White shark! At the tip of it’s jaw the bite force was probably concentrated to an astonishing 80,000 pounds per square inch!

It could probably open it’s mouth very rapidly – as fast as 1/50th of a second. It likely ate sharks and even others of it’s own species.
